2014 EXAMINATION INSTRUCTIONS AND SCHEDULE

Scheduling an Examination:
1. Submit an application with fee (s). Faxed OR E-mail applications are NOT ACCEPTABLE.
Application must be mailed.
2. To assure you get scheduled for the month and location you want to test, applications must be
mailed by the POSTAL DATE listed below.

Confirmation of your Application:
1. You will be mailed an Exam Notification letter with your scheduled date, time and location.
If you do not receive the letter from the Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) one week
before your scheduled exam date, please call DPR at (916) 445-4038.
2. Review your Examination Notification letter. No changes will be made at the testing site. If anything is
incorrect on the letter, contact DPR before your scheduled examination date at (916) 445-4038.


General Information:
1. New applicants must pass the Laws and Regulations PLUS one category exam to become a
licensed or certified applicator.
2. If you do not become a licensed or certified applicator within 12 months from your original
application, you will be required to submit a new application, fees and retest in all exams.
