Found and listened to in my room "I know it seem hard sometimes but uhh Remember one thing Through every dark night, there's a bright day after that So no matter how hard it get, stick your chest out Keep your head up, and handle it" Another song with the theme of trying to stay positive and press on when bad things happen because there "is a bright day after every dark night." In the song, Tupac talks about how it's him against the world and he is the only one on his side, yet he believes that the days are bright. Dark night symbolizes bad days and the brighter days symbolize good day . This song sends a good message about being positive despite what life has thrown at you. This song is poetic because is has the ability to change the negative feelings of someone who is having a terrible day into positive feelings due to the hope for a better tomorrow. Found and listened to at my friend's house. "The pain of war cannot exceed the woe of aftermath, The drums will shake the castle wall, the ring wraiths ride in black, Ride on." This song lyric is talking about how, in a battle or war, the actual ght does not compare to the woe of what comes after. The fatalities are counted, the bodies are collected, and the families mourn. Songs full of symbolisms. Serious, darker tone. This lyric is poetic because of the somber feeling I got when realizing how true the verse really is. War does bring terrible things, and woe is denitely one of them. Deaths and injuries are everywhere, and nothing can change the fact of that.
