Letter of Recommendation 4-1-14

Natalie Noble

To Whom It May Concern,

I am pleased to have this opportunity to wholeheartedly endorse the application of Natalie Noble for future
employment or as a university student. Having known Natalie for over five years, I can attest that she possesses
those personal attributes and qualifications that you would seek in an employee or student. Natalie is an athlete
who is academically focused; committed to making a difference in society; and relates extremely well with
people. Not only will she thrive in any work or school environment, she has the potential to be a future leader.
Evidenced by her resume, Natalie has garnered exceptional grades in high school and in her college courses.
She has maintained a 4.0 grade-point average throughout high school and is the Valedictorian of her class. She
has also maintained a 4.0 grade-point average in the eight college courses she has taken. Similarly, Natalie has
been recognized in thirteen classes by receiving the Academic Achievement Award. In addition, Natalie
received the Citizenship Award at the completion of the two previous years. Her academic success is
recognized through her selection to the National Honors Society and selection as an elementary math tutor.
In addition to scholarship, Natalie has excelled in sports, participating in Track and Cross Country. She was
team captain for her high school cross country team, which placed first at the Division 3 State Championship.
Other school and community activities include Student Council, Natural Helpers Program, Peer-Peer Program
and participation in the German Exchange Program.
From my perspective, as the Advisor to the Mt. Pleasant Area Community Foundation Youth Advisory
Committee (YAC), I have observed the remarkable development of Natalie as a young, enthusiastic new
member to an exceptional leader and community servant over the last five years. Natalie has served in a variety
of positions on the committee over the years and is currently the Vice President. She has done extensive youth
grant-making training as a recipient of the training and as a trainer. She has organized and participated in
community service projects and fundraisers for the committee. And, she has been a leader and mentor to the
younger members on all aspects of the committee work. Most remarkable was how she orchestrated a
partnership between the YAC and a large private company in the area. The YAC has helped organize and
execute summer and fall activities for members of the company and their families. In return the company has
made significant donations to the YACs endowed fund.
Evidenced by the above, Natalie is an absolutely outstanding individual who has unlimited potential. As
mentioned earlier, she is extremely bright, articulate, personable, and committed to making a difference. I have
worked with thousands of young adults as an Army officer and director of a university leadership program. I
would rate her at or near the top of those who I have taught, mentored, and developed. She will be an
outstanding employee or representative of any firm or company, or a stellar student leader at the institute of
higher education she may elect to attend.
Respectfully,
Dyke Heinze
