Activity/ location: Soldering in the Electronics room, Sheffield Hallam University sheaf Building.

1 There will be only 5 children soldering in the
group as the other half are on a tour around the
University, the room can hold many more so
there is a low risk.

2 The equipment may be complex to people who
have not soldered before so the children will have
a health and safety talk on how to us them safely
before they are allowed to us them.

1 The soldering irons and various other equipment
will be checked over before the lesson and the
children will be supervised when using them.

they come to room so should be organized we
will check they have everything they need.

deal with it as it comes along, should be ok as
long as children enjoy the work.

2 We will assign a support teacher with the person
for the day so they receive as much as they can
out of the day.

also break it down so makes it easier for children
to learn.

the pupils will be treated the same
