AssemblyoftheAluminumXcarriage

To assembly the Aluminum

X carriage unscrew the
M3x25mm from the
eccentric wheel and insert
in the apposite holes in the
carriagerearplate.

Tight the eccentric

wheel bolts very well as
they should not unscrew
duringbelttensioning.

place the 3 LM8UU in the

slots.

Placethefrontplate.
insert two M3 nuts on the
eccentric wheel bolts in
order to keep the parts of
thecarriagetogether
Place 2 x M3x 25 mm bolts
in the bottom fixing holes
andtightthenuts.

Insert the extruder support

plate into the central slot of
the Xcarriage and tight the
bolts.

You mau need to add

additional washer on the
bolts to be able to properly
tighttheplate.

BeltInstallation

To assembly the
belt, release the left
side (front view)
eccentric of the
carriage

Insert a portion of
23 cm between the
extruder support
plate and the
eccentric.

Turn the eccentric

wheel clockwise to
fixthebeltinposition

Pass the belt trough

the idler bearing and
again into the
carriage below the
eccentric wheel up
to the motor pulley
and back to the
carriage.
insert the belt
between the
eccentric and the
extruder base plate,
getting the terminal
part of the belt going
outfromthetop.
Tensione the belt
and tight the
eccentric wheel
clockwise.

At this time the belt

is fixed and
tensioned.
