Wing horizontal stabilizer de-ice pressure switch


One pressure switch is dedicated to horizontal stabilizer deicing systemand the others to wing
de-icing system .
The wing de-icing pressure switches are located at the inlets of both the inboard and outboard
L and ! chambers of wing deicer boots and downstream of "#$%S.
The horizontal stabilizer de-ice pressure switch is located at the inlet of the horizontal stabilizer
de-icer boots.
The pressure switches ensure a minimum pressure is being supplied to deicers in specific
timing window.

The wing horizontal stabilizer deicer boots sre sil,er polyurethane-surfaced pneumatic deicers
consisting of a smooth rubber and fabric blan4et containing a span wise deicing tubes.
"ach wing deicer boot is a single boot with separate inflateable chambers+one for the inboard
wing section and one for outboard wing section .each wing deicer boot has an inboard air
connection for inflation.
The wing left hand and right hand outboard chambers of deicer boot will inflate simultaneously
.the left hand and right hand inboard deicer boot will inflate simultaneously.
The inflation pressure of deicer boot is -)*-1psig
