From farms to

Industrial Revolution and
Pollution
During the Industrial period there started being an intensive
use of 3 very big pollutants: coal, oil and natural gas. Mainly
used by factory machines like the steam engine, which used
large amounts of coal which polluted its surroundings. As we
all know coal is the main source of pollution, so its not a
surprise that pollution started accumulating since this
machine and many others after it worked.

What it polluted
Water: Streams, rivers. Water pollution created a mayor
disease which is Cholera.
Air Pollution: People lived in unsanitary ways. Air
pollution was caused by coal and created 60% of acid
rain in Britain in the 90s.

The Evolution of Pollution
1971- 337,000 people were dying of cancer
because of pollution. ( Diesel is a type of fuel
derived from crude oil. Large engines, in
many trucks, buses, trains, equipment for
construction, generators, some cars ,etc. Ran
on diesel fuels that causes cancer.)

Evolution of Pollution
Present - The air, water, and soil is destroyed
because of pollution. There are many new
diseases and many more yet to come if this
continues on. Humans are intoxicated with
chemicals and hormonally unbalanced, and
who knows what can happen next.

How Pollution has left us
How Pollution has left us
How Pollution has left us
Words cant even explain
We dont have healthy soil because of wastes, the
overflowing trash there is in the world and pesticides.
Our air is not fresh because of fumes from industries and
cars. Our water is polluted with chemicals in oceans and
rivers, cloth fibers like polyester contaminates the
beaches. Our natural resources are a dump and it will
take more than just an effort to fix it.

It affects more than just the
environment
Besides creating wars because we lack of natural resources, wars create large
amounts of pollution and are destroying the little we have left of nature. For
example the war in Iraq. The war in Iraq released greenhouse gases that
created pollution as much as 25 million cars do. Another example would be
when the plane hit the twin towers. 90,000 liters of fuel burned into the
atmosphere, releasing thousands and thousands of toxins into the air. So in
the end when the world says they want to fix global warming, what they are
doing in all of these wars for natural resources is just creating more
pollution.

It affects more than just the
environment
Coal, Oil, and Natural Gas caused pollution. But the big use of
it has created many disputes about natural resources because
they are all running out. The USA, China, Russia and well as
most of the nations in the world want those natural resources,
and the best way to solve this conflict for them was through
war. Examples would be The USA and Iraq for oil. Also the
French and Indian War which was over land, rivers, and
trapping territory.

What will happen if pollution keeps
increasing as well as Global warming??
Water levels will start rising covering up many islands and killing thousands
of people. Also the rising of water levels will cause 50% more storms than
there already is (tsunamis, hurricanes, tornadoes) killing even more people
and making land disappear. Also years from now the places where we once
knew where there was no water will be flooded abruptly. The places we once
knew there were farms, will be dry and we won't have enough food to eat.
And then what will happen?? Another war because of lack of food?? By the
time we get to that point there won't be any resources left to even fight.

Conclusions
Have you ever wondered what the world would be like if no invention was
created. We think there are 2 perspectives you can see this from. A: negative
that would be that all the pollution, increase in deaths are because of this
new technology. B: But what would happen if we didn't have this
technology? You wouldn't be able to have your smartphones, laptops,
notebooks, not even your bed. All this started from the Industrial
Revolution. Pollution doesn't have a real solution since most people don't
care about it. But when the world gets tired of all this junk, let's see if you
now give a minimum importance to this issue and then start doing
something for the world, like preserving the energy we have and sharing
equally among everybody the natural sources we have left, and use the least
we can.
