MTCMove The Chains
Allergic to turnovers
Fumble in a game, they are out and wont be back
Fumble in practice, they run, someone else takes their reps
Fans love to see the football in the air because they can see it.

In An
Orphanage
If it isnt perfect, it needs to be improved
Coach one player,
Every rep
Every play
Every day
Happy OffenseEveryone gets to block
Good FB is a guy who doesnt fall down
FBs stay in the funnel
FBs make cut on 2
nd
step
If its cloudy, put your shoulders down and get us 4 yards.
BYOBBe Your Own Blocker
Dont care about DL who go upfield
Pull at 45 degrees and get feet and butt out of the way
QB-clear midline and push ball back to FB with one hand
Push ball back as far as he can
Put hand in and get it out fast to maintain same speed
Fake two hands to the HB
Rock cradle when faking
Dont get tackledIf tackled, no longer faking, we want people to run with
him.
QB-hand on hip-Key is energy out of the ride.
Fake with eyes
Look at exchange from other side
Run trap at soft spot in the defense
As a rule, look outside the end and count to see what plays to run
End and Corner outside, run sweep and pass
End, Corner, and Safety outside, run in the middle
Open hand fake to HB on 20 series.
Block every front under the sun.
Go into Wing and FS moves to the Strong side
Teams slide into a 2i and 5 and leave a natural ISO

This is what we do and we are going to do it well
Wing-t Basics
Why does it work?
It allows us to focus our off-season work on the development of athletes,
rather than the development of skill.
Repetition
Simplicity, kids play with confidence
It is a linemans offense
Attacks the entire field from one formation
Off-Tackle Play
Good FB is a guy who doesnt fall down
Co-Ops (Doesnt Double Team)
Make sure you take care of business at the LOS
Co-op the widest guy from the POA
Always get to the 2
nd
level if your removed from POA
Spend a lot of time J-blocking and Hooking
First step is straight ahead on J-block with the outside foot.
This gives us a good inside-out angle
Keep ball wrapped
Bends FB into first seem A gap out
HBs dont run outside the tunnel
QB is deep on the midline so the handoff is at 90 degrees
QB needs great energy after the ride.
Off-Tackle play is an I formation ISO with an extra man blocking and energy on
the outside
Four yard gain is a great football play
If your making 1
st
downs, the defense starts to crumble, then you hit home
runs
Keep
QB-race to the HB-Energy out of ride-hold edge and keep if off of the off-tackle
play.
Any midline run through is taken by FB
Quarterback Play
Who?
Leader (Confidence)
Worker (Spends far more skill time than other positions)
Playmaker rather than a thrower
Quickness is most important attribute
Keys to running the Keep
Great mechanics
Energy
Downhill out of the ride
Great backside play
(Got to be able to run the off-tackle play)
Two key mechanics parts to offense
Mesh between QB and FB
Accelerate through mesh and deposit the ball without making it look
different
Ride on Keep
Ball is in and strong and HB is on it and strong
Eyes go in to HB
HB selling on fake
Pump hand with no ball in it
Keep ball on hip for at least two steps, by third step the ball is out.
If your QB can defeat one defender with his feet, he cant be defended.
Throw on the run
CONSTANTINE COACHES

Use a center on every play
Handoff Drill
Done on a line on the practice field
No gap between QB and FB
Also do without FB so they learn to run hard without he FB
Practice with J-blocks at the same time
1
st
step on J-block is straight ahead
Also work hook blocks
Have ends fire upfield, Backs must learn to read and react
