Revenue Manager,

Westmead Hospital, NSW

Dear Sir,
My name is Farah Deeba and my MRN is 2875106.
I had visited Auburn hospital a lot of times in the last few months. I visited Auburn Hospital
on 21/02/2014 but unfortunately it was really busy and I waited there for couple of hours
but there was no doctor available to attend me. I was been referred by my private doctor to
get some fluid urgently so I showed that doctor letter at the reception so I was been asked
to go upstairs at maternity unit to get treatment urgently as emergency unit was really busy
and my condition was really bad and I am pregnant. It was my bad luck that no doctor
visited me in the maternity unit as well so after waiting couple of hours upstairs I did not
wanted to wait there anymore. I was keep asking for the doctor but I was receiving a reply
from the nurse that doctors know that I are here and they will come when they could then I
finally decided to go home and I left. I did not get any treatment at all that day except
waiting but I received a bill now of $115 which I should not have received.
I went home in that condition and I was feeling really sick so next day I decided to go to
Westmead Hospital emergency and I waited there in the waiting area and I told the nurse
that I have already waited a lot in the Auburn hospital yesterday but he told me that it is
really busy here so he ask me to come inside and I was sitting on the computer chair waiting
for the doctor and to be transferred under the doctor for the treatment so I was still waiting
but I think your system shows that my treatment was been started at that time. I did not get
any bed that day because it was really busy there as well. I was only been given two drips
that day and they did blood tests. I was not under treatment for more than 4 hours but I
have received a bill for the whole day. Please send me the correct bill of 4 hours for
23/02/2014.
It will be really appreciated.
Kind Regards,
Farah Deeba,
