grammar structures and characters of the reading when representing the story in role-plays while
applying the grammar structures in daily life situations.
Rationale
Now days it is important for any individual to be able to hold a conversation using grammar structures
and have a wide knowledge of literature to enrich their lives.
Lesson Content
Analyzing the grammar structures and characters while reading Shakespeares Secret and them
applying them in role-plays.


INSTRUCTIONAL PROCEDURES

a. Warm-Up Brainstorming T presents the title of the book and asks the Ss to brainstorm
about what the reading is about.

b. Teaching Procedures

Presentation: activate prior knowledge, emphasize the grammar structures, establish
the grammar structure of a sentence emphasizing in the context of the reading, the T
ask for some examples to see if Ss understood.

Controlled Practice: Worksheet T handles to the Ss a work sheet after they finished the
reading and Ss have to answer the worksheet.

Semi Controlled Practice: Group work Ss in their groups, choose a chapter of the
reading and represent it in a role-play.

Free Practice: Role-play Ss represent the story in a role-play (for this, the entire
classroom is one group) and adapt it to their context.

C. Closure: The Ss represent the role-play to the T, using their own context for the story.

D. Feedback: Video (link is in the material and aids section).

E. Student Participation: Dialoguing about the grammar structures and characters of the
story.

F. Homework: Research what are the most significant plays of Shakespeare.
