1*A free, international studies education to approximately 600 high school students Each student has the opportunity to participate in our high school commencement/graduation if they have successfully completed all credits and course requirements as established by Vaughn Next Century Learning Center. In order to graduate and participate in the graduation ceremony a student must complete all of the following: 240 credits earned in grades 9-12 All Vaughn International Studies Academy Graduation Course Requirements Complete the community service requirement by March 31 st

2*A YPI lab that consists of 32 internet equipped desktops, which are free for the public to use As a leader in educational technology, YPI provides Los Angeles residents with a variety of services ranging from free computer lab access and training for youth and adults, to comprehensive school support- promoting technology integration in the classroom. The agencys team of educational technologists follows the philosophy that technology can be used as a tool to foster leadership, promote empowerment, and facilitates and enhance different types of learning. YPI strongly believes that closing the digital divide in Los Angeles is an essential element in stimulating economic development, neighborhood transformation, and student achievement. Funded through a $5.6 million dollar federal grant from the U.S. Department of Commerces Broadband Technology Opportunities Program (BTOP), YPIs Educational Technology Department opened 83 public computer centers (PCCs) in Los Angeles targeting neighborhoods hardest hit by poverty. Over the three year grant period, an average of 26,000 users visited YPI PCCs each week. There is a public computer center located on VISAs first floor. The YPI lab offers convenient access for residents and families in the neighboring area. Centers offer broadband internet access, computer literacy classes, and a broad range of youth and adult education services for community residents.
3*Parent education courses to those parents interested and willing to attend
Parent education is offered to parents of all grades. These courses come in the form of: *Parent forums (held monthly) *Targeted parenting-skill workshops *Parent training for AERIES so that they can connect to VISAs grading system and view/monitor their childs progress
