Supply List for Pleasant Plains High School Band Students

Welcome to the Pleasant Plains High School Band Program. The following list contains both items
that are required (in bold) and items that are suggested for serious players.
Students must also have a pencil for every rehearsal.
*Many music stores offer an instrument cleaning kit which contains many of the listed items*

*reed case (for reed storage when not using)
*small water container (for soaking reeds before use)

*six new reeds (buy a box and save money) - Mitchell Laurie, Vandoren, or Rico Grand Concert
(Medium or 3 Mitchell Laurie runs softer, so get 4s)

*reed case -reeds should never be left on the mouthpiece when the instrument is being stored!
*clarinet swab to clean out clarinet after every practice, rehearsal and performance

student is able to produce.)
