Tr. greets Ss. and goes through morning routine- date,
days of the week, register
WARMER/ACTIVATE/DAILY SPELLING (10 mins)
Review yesterdays vocabulary/spellings for eg. play
find my partner or any other game of your choice
such as hangman. Tr. then introduces todays spelling
words by holding up flashcards and saying word,
explain meaning and demonstrate correct
pronunciation, explain meaning first and continue to
model pronunciation

Ss. write out words in copy books and write a sentence to

healthy. How can we stay healthy? Elicit and write
their ideas on the board
Display pg 90 of the CB on Itools if possible Look
at the photographs on pg 90 of the CB and as Ss.
qs about what they see. Are the foods healthy or
unhealthy?
