Gauge is not critical for this project.
SPECIAL STITCH
sk2p: slip, knit 2 together, pass overSlip next
stitch to right needle as if to knit, k2tog, lift slipped
stitch over the k2tog stitch and off needle2 sts
decreased.
NOTE
Circular needle is used to accommodate large
number of stitches. Work back and forth in rows on
circular needle as if working with straight needles.
DESIGNER'S TIP
For a wider Blanket, cast on additional stitches in
multiples of ten. Each additional 10 stitches adds
about 1"/4.5cm of width. A wider Blanket may
require additional yarn.
INSTRUCTIONS
With A, cast on 159 sts.
Row 1 (RS): With A, k4, k2tog, *k3, yo, k1, yo, k3,
sk2p; repeat from * to last 13 sts, k3, yo, k1, yo,
k3, k2tog, k4.
Row 2: With A, k5, purl to last 5 sts, k5.
Rows 312: With A, repeat last 2 rows 5 more
times.
Rows 1316: With B, knit.
Repeat Rows 116 until piece measures about
60"/152.5cm from beginning, end with a Row 11.
Bind off as if to knit.
FINISHING
If necessary, block Blanket to finished measure-
ments. Weave in ends.
