Timeline for Completion of Project

Day 1

o As a group, look over the information in your textbook and the provided library books to get a
general idea of the achievement and its impact

o Begin filling out your individual notes with information you find (all group members should do this)!!

o Decide how you will present your information

o Assign research to complete at home to group members. Assign printing/drawing relevant
pictures.

Homework: Research and record information, print or draw relevant pictures


Day 2

o Research your Achievement and record information on the group worksheet.


Day 3

o Continue and wrap up any final research on your achievement.

o Meet as a group and begin to plan out your presentation

o Assign members of your group to type information, print pictures, etc.

o Consider using videos and music to add to your presentation

Homework: Type information and print or draw relevant pictures, assist in the creation of your
presentation


Day 4

o Work on completing your presentation. The presentation should be ready to turn in and will be
.presented on Day 5. Use the check list below to make sure your presentation is complete.

_____ A quote by a person associated with the achievement (if possible)

_____ Influence of the achievement as seen in modern society

Day 5 & Beyond

o Each group will present, assist the class in filling in their notes, and answer questions
o Write a persuasive letter to the museum director
