School Highlights

I am proud to be the principal of

such a caring, successful school.
Greenleaf Elementary School
provides an orderly, safe
environment with high quality
instruction and high expectations,
where students experience
rewarding, meaningful learning
each day. Education provides us
all with powerful opportunities,
and you can find them here at
Greenleaf.
Our students become independent, responsible, life-long learners. Through
our Greenleaf CARES (Cooperation, Assertion, Empathy, and Self-control)
school-wide expectations, students learn to make positive choices that
affect their behavior and academic successes.
Besides the strong core curriculum that is taught in homeroom classes
(reading, writing, mathematics, science, social studies, and health),
Greenleaf offers specialist classes that enhance the learning that students
do the rest of their day. Our physical education specialists, music
specialist, art specialist, technology specialist and media specialist offer
extended yet connected learning to the core curriculum, providing students
other areas for continued successes.
The outstanding, enthusiastic, and caring staff at Greenleaf work
collaboratively to enhance each student's educational experience. Each
staff member brings a special set of skills that makes Greenleaf a dynamic
place to learn. Providing a positive school climate, staff members build
relationships with students and their families. We recognize and celebrate
cultural differences while promoting our school community's unity.
We are proud of our school and the strong work we do with children every
day. I welcome you to visit Greenleaf Elementary, where all who enter our
doors feel welcome.
Respectfully,
Michelle deKam Palmieri, Principal
