(Lead-in/Review)

Ss are asked to describe pictures related to the topic using vocabulary
they learned today. Then, Ss watch (< 2 min) Youtube video of modern
Korean wedding ceremony, taking notes on anything interesting while
they watch. Ss tell the class what they noticed.

Presentation

Using examples of modern and traditional Korean weddings, T asks Ss to
describe what they see. T introduces any vocabulary Ss miss and corrects
mistakes.

Practice

Ss pair up. Partners listen to descriptions of different weddings, then
describe what they heard to their partner (info gap). Partners then listen
to each others passage to check each others work.

Production

In pairs, Ss pretend they work for an American wedding planning
company in LA that caters to Korean clients. Given a list of options for
venue, style, reception, etc, S pairs plan a wedding ceremony and
reception. S pairs present their plans and their reasoning to the class.
