25 (Lead-in/Review)
Ss are asked to describe pictures related to the topic using vocabulary they learned today. Then, Ss watch (< 2 min) Youtube video of modern Korean wedding ceremony, taking notes on anything interesting while they watch. Ss tell the class what they noticed.
Presentation
Using examples of modern and traditional Korean weddings, T asks Ss to describe what they see. T introduces any vocabulary Ss miss and corrects mistakes.
Practice
Ss pair up. Partners listen to descriptions of different weddings, then describe what they heard to their partner (info gap). Partners then listen to each others passage to check each others work.
Production
In pairs, Ss pretend they work for an American wedding planning company in LA that caters to Korean clients. Given a list of options for venue, style, reception, etc, S pairs plan a wedding ceremony and reception. S pairs present their plans and their reasoning to the class.
