Take Action and Reflect

The final part of your capstone project involves taking action and reflecting on your capacity to
contribute to or advocate for improvement. You will need to create a take action and reflection
portion of your capstone website and address the performance outcomes below. This will also
become a part of your final exam presentation. Include pictures of your action/event and seek
feedback from your collaborators. An effective reflection not only includes your perceptions,
but the perceptions of those involved and affected.

LEAD11-12.COMM4. Reflect on audience response and/or feedback and revise
communication choices based on the impact of communication.
I can identify an audiences reaction to my communication. This means I can describe in
my own words how a specific audience responded to my communication.
I can determine what to do to improve my communication with an audience. This means
I can describe how to change my communication choices in relation to a specific
audience based on my experience communicating with that audience.
I can revise my communication choices based on audience feedback. This means I can
change my communication choicesincluding meeting audiences expectations and
perspectives, verbal and non-verbal communication choices; and technology, media,
world language communication choicesbased on feedback from a specific audience.
