Description of Current Position Responsibilities-Dayton Childrens Hospital

Coordinate care of sickle cell patients in outpatient and inpatient setting.
Developed and implemented pain plans for sickle cell patients in EPIC.
Collaborate with Medical Director to identify areas for improvement in clinical care and
quality of care for sickle cell patients.
Update and maintain Sickle Cell Clinical Practice Guidelines based on current evidence
based practice
Provide outreach education for lay and medical community.
Provide continue education on sickle cell disease and other hematological disorders to staff
nurses.
Research coordinator on three sickle cell disease research studies at Dayton Children's
Hospital.
