EXPERIENCE

As an Instructional Aide at CESs Therapeutic Day Program, I assisted with day-to-day
classroom activities of students who have a range of emotional and behavioral disabilities.
The students I worked most closely with were in elementary and middle school grades.
Furthermore, I had the opportunity to shadow, observe, and assist a number of specialists
such as certified Special Education Teachers, Social Workers, and School Psychologists.

Job Duties:
Created and Implemented weekly health lessons
Monitored progress and instructed small group math lessons
Assisted in the creation and application of behavioral, social, and educational goals
subjective to each student
Aided in Physical Management Training crisis intervention when necessary

Certified Water Safety Swim Instructor, Parks and Recreation Department

As a Swim Instructor for the Town of Weston, I taught group and private swim lessons to
children between infancy and adolescence. I maintained several American Red Cross
certifications such as Water Safety Swim Instructor, Lifeguard, and First Aid for the
Professional Rescuer. I also had the opportunity to teach group swim lessons to children
with special needs.

EDUCATION

Bachelors Degree in Psychology, Northeastern University

While at Northeastern University, I took higher level courses that focused on Social and
Developmental Psychology. In these courses I learned about behavioral analysis and
modification, juvenile delinquency, and adolescent education. I also obtained credit and
experience in performing psychological research studies that relate to Social Psychology. I
also had the opportunity to join a Sorority, Alpha Epsilon Phi, which allotted me several
experiences with volunteer work, raising money and awareness for philanthropies, and
holding leadership positions.
