Substitute Teacher, Davis and Salt Lake City School District, November 2013-present. Instruction and classroom
management for classrooms of varied content areas. Frequently requested substitute for many music programs
throughout Davis and Salt Lake City District, and for multiple teachers at North West Middle School in Salt Lake City
District. Recognized by teachers as providing excellent instruction, as well as establishing expectations and managing
student behavior.

English Tutor, Guadalupe School, Salt Lake City, UT, February 2014-present. Volunteer tutor for the adult education
program at Guadalupe School. Responsible for instructing adult immigrants and refugees in reading literacy, oral and
written communication skills, as well as assessing student understanding and readiness.

Student Teacher, Kaysville Junior High, Davis School District, Kaysville, UT, Spring 2013. Instruction and
classroom management of choral ensembles, General Music, and Bell Choir grades seven through nine. Created and
coordinated student activities and responsible for grading and interaction with faculty, staff, and parents. Co-directed
student Bell Choir Club after school.

Private Voice Instructor, Bountiful and Ogden, Utah, 2010-2013. Developed and maintained a private voice studio
teaching students ages 11 to adult. Developed a curriculum founded on research-based vocal pedagogy strategies.
Provided students with a thorough musical instruction and helped students to be more confident performers and
individuals.
