Why is it important to consider ethical issues when producing media?
It is very important to consider ethical issues when producing media because companies
and producers have to be very careful if the material is offensive. hey may not mean to
harm anyone! however some can be deemed as inappropriate or offensive to different"
genders! religions! cultures and ages. In any aspect of media there can be ethical issues
with what material you want to use and who it is
appropriate to see. #ecause of this issue there are laws
put in place to protect people different content such as"
aging certificates and warnings of the content.
How is gender represented in film?
$ender in film is represented in different ways. he
most common and stereotypical portray of gender is
that woman are shown as them being the wea%er
gender. his is how most commonly woman are
portrayed however in more modern films they have
changed it and instead of seeing woman as wea% they
are seen as stronger and more powerful than men.
&lthough this is the case in some films stereotypically
and in older films woman are shown as being wea%er
and more vulnerable.

this fine will be as much as the cost of the illegally owned or watched production. In other
smaller cases such as watched illegally online a warning will be sent to you! the website
and search engines saying this is an illegal website. In more serious cases there can be a
:ail sentence or community service issued depending on how e-treme or big the crime
was.
