AsIlookatallthebirdsintheforestIthinkaboutthinkaboutmyfreshmanBiologyclass
andhowwetalkedabouttheevolutionofbirds.WithoutBiologyclassIwouldn'tbeableto
tellwhichbirdiscloselyrelated.Biologytaughtushowtotellwhichbirdsarecloselyrelated
bylookingatthebeak.AsJacobandIlookatthealltypeofdifferentbirdsandnoticesome
birdswithsimilarbeaksandsuspectedtheyaremorecloselyrelated.AsI'mwalking

familyandIarewaitingforittocome.OncethesunsetcomesIlookatmyamazingfamily

Lookingbackfromthefirstquartertothefourthquarterthemostdifficultwasthe
animalandplantcells.Thisunitwasdifficultformebecausethemicroscopewasconfusing
onhowtouseit.AlsowhenitcametousingthemicroscopeIdidn'tknowhowtofocusiton
thecell.ThemicroscopewastheonlythingthatwasdifficultformebutIdidn'tlikethisunit
atallbecauseitdidn'tcatchmyintention.Ididn'tgetwhywehadtolookatthecells
becauseitwasnotinterestingtome.
Biologyisgoingtobeabigimpactinmyfuture.Thiswillimpactmeon
understandingofthelivingworldbecausenowIknowallaboutevolution.Evolutionhadme
thinkaboutallthedifferentspeciesthatareallaroundtheworldandwhichonesarerelated
insomeway.Iwanttostudymoreaboutevolutionandhowwe,humansarerelatedtoother
species.TakingBiologyIfirstdidntknoweverythingthatwelearnedbutnowtalkingand
learningitIfeellikeImnowpreparedinknowingBiology.
