socioeconomic backgrounds. My time was spent planning, designing, and assessing the students. I
created a pretest and posttest to monitor the student!s progress.

My student teaching experience was at Memorial Elementary in a first grade classroom of twenty-three
students (three of the students were students with special needs who pushed in throughout the day).
My time was spent planning, implementing, and assessing the students in a variety of learning
experiences. The learning experiences took shape of Daily 5, Writers Workshop, math, and science. My
time was also spent in assisting in field trips and classroom management.
