PROPOSAL / ESTIMATED PROJECTS

This is the norm and preferred way Versatile Services usually does business. For the rare, occasional and
unknown scope of work please see Time and Materials section below.
Versatile Services itemizes the project scope of Work. Versatile Services itemizes and defines Major materials.
Versatile Services Does Not itemize individual materials, labor, permit or other associated cost. If
subcontractors are used they will be itemized for their scope of work only.
REASONING: Versatile Services formulation in calculating a proposals final cost to the
consumer is proprietary. Due to competitive concerns and no value to the consumer the
bottom dollar (final cost) is all that matters.
TIME AND MATERIALS PROJECTS
Time and Material projects usually result in unseen, unknown work which may result in additional material(s),
labor, rental(s), subcontractor work etc.
Versatile Services itemizes the visual and known project scope of Work. Versatile Services itemizes and
defines visual and known Major materials. Versatile Services Does Not itemize individual material or other
associated cost.
Additional material or associated cost will be itemized as a whole. Labor cost will be an hourly rate that
includes but not limited to the following:
1. Professional hourly work billed at skill level of work required.
2. Demolition and disposal time.
3. Travel time to and from jobsite.
4. Time to research, secure and obtain materials.
5. Permit fees.
6. Time to fill out permit application(s) and obtain same.
7. Design work.
8. Onsite design layout(s)
9. Any time involved in securing and supervising subcontractors etc.
10. Time dealing with inspectors, owner and anyone else necessary to further project.
11. Any unknown or unforeseen situation requiring additional time and or materials
