Aspirator-used together with pipet to aspirate or obtain liquid sample
Beaker- it may be used to hold samples, as a reaction vessel, to heat up the
samples etc.
Erlenmayer Flask- used as receiving vessel for titration among others
Buret Clamps- used to hold burets
Test Tube Brush- for cleaning test tubes and narrow-mouthed glassware
Wing Top or Fish Tail-used to bend glass as it spreads heat over a larger area,
making it more uniform
Porcelain Spatula-used to scoop solid chemicals
Medicine Dropper-used to transport a measured volume of liquid
Stirring Rod- used to stir liquid samples
Funnel-used to channel liquid or fine-grain substances into containers with a
small opening
Wire Gauze-Placed on iron ring during heating to distribute heat evenly
Metal Spatula- Used to scrape off substances
Test Tube Holder- used to hold test tubes especially when heated
Clay Triangle-used to hold the crucible during heating
Pipette-To measure exact or accurate volume
Nichrome Wire- used in ceramics, used as a support to help some clay structures
remain in their mold
Evaporating Dish- used to evaporate small amount of liquid samples
Spot Plate-used for miniscule experiments and sample chemical qualitative tests
Deflagrating Spoon-used to heat small amounts of substances into high
temperatures
Florence Flask- used for heating substances that needs ti be heated evenly
Wash Bottle- used for dispensing small amounts of distilled water
Tripod- used to support heating setups
Thermometer- used to determine temperature
Iron Ring- used together with the iron stand to support apparatus
Mortar and Pestle- used for grinding and pulverizing purposes
Acid and Base Burets-used for titration and may be used to accurate or measure
volume
Watch Glass-may be used to cover beaker, and can only be used to hold small
amounts of liquid samples
Crucible Tong- may be used to hold to pick up glassware or other materials
Alcohol Lamp-used for heating purposes
Iron Clamp- used to hold apparatus in suspended form
Crucible and Tong-used to heat very solid samples at very high temperatures.
