ORGANISATIONAL CHANGE AND DEVELOPMENT
ABSTRACT

Through diverse literature this paper reconceptalizes and integrates the concept of Organizational
development which is ongoing systematic process of implementing effective organizational
change to increase the effectiveness or efficiency to engage the organization to achieve strategic
goals. This paper mainly aims at presenting several studies that examine the purpose of
organizational change and development. This paper focuses on issues in organization like
organizational culture, organizational environment, employee engagement, department and work
group, organizational structure, norms etc. The purpose of this paper is to study continuous
change and improve on interventions which are helping for making change in organizational
capacity to handle its internal and external functioning and relationship. This paper gives brief
information in studying organizational change and helps to identify link between the change
process and organizational change which helps in developing processes, system and structure.
