Authors name(s): Barbara Taylor, Laura Brinkly, Shemeka, Barbara D Course/Unit/Lesson: 1.4.5 Dimensioning Name of homework Assignment: Introduction into dimensioning using the flipped classroom design Learning objective(s):
The student will communicate ideas for a design using various sketching methods, notes, and drawings. The student will understand the guidelines for dimensioning. The student will view a video, the PowerPoint from the LMS, and answer the quiz questions LMS feature to be used to administer: PowerPoint 1.4.5 Method of providing corrective feedback: When the students finish watching the video, AutoDesk Inventor 2014 tutorial Creating Dimensional Constraints, and go through the 1.4.5 PowerPoint on Dimensioning, the student will take a 10 question quiz over the material. The quiz will provide immediate feedback on the basic dimensioning knowledge. The student will then go back and rewatch the video/PowerPoint until they are able to make 100 on the online quiz. Estimated time to complete: Video 9.23 min, PowerPoint 3 min. Quiz 5 min. Rewatch and retake quiz for a total of 20 minor until they are able to make 100. Feedback provided by: Online quiz feature and working skills in class the next day 2013 Project Lead The Way, Inc. Instructional Design: Homework Page 2 Peer Feedback: Does the assignment meet the design criteria? Is the assignment grammatically correct and written at an appropriate reading level? Is the learning objective(s) appropriate? Does the assignment address the intended learning objective(s)? Is the answer key correct or the student exemplar appropriate?
