Setting up of the Abot Alam Website and
Database- spearheaded by the National Youth
Commission (NYC)
Issuance of DILG Memorandum Circular,
mandating barangays to map their OSYs and
submit data to NYC through the Abot Alam
website
Official Launch of Abot Alam, and other initiatives
to increase awareness on the program and boost
OSY registration

130 barangays have registered through the Abot
Alam website
4,300 OSYs have registered

Female: 1,534

There is a need to review strategies in cascading
information on Abot Alam in order to get more OSYs to
register

Reintegration
Out the 4,300 OSYs registered, more than 2,000
are from the province of Laguna
Initial meeting and consultation has been done
with the DepED Divisions of Laguna and San Pablo
City for strategies on addressing the needs of the
registered OSYs
The process of reintegrating the OSYS in these division
will be used as template for the succeeding
reintegration processes
