ABSTRACT

Swap and modernization project conducted by PT. XL Axiata Tbk is the hardware
modernization of 2 network with !"S #$$$ %ricsson rep&acin' the o&der !"S 2$$$
%ricsson and of ( network with !"S #$$$ %ricsson rep&aced by "TS ()$$ *uawei. This
project tar'ets performance impro+ement of 2 and ( network of PT. XL Axiata Tbk to
co+er 'rowin' numbers of customers.
This thesis aims to study and to compare the network performance prior and after
swap and modernization project on 2 and ( network based on co+era'e, capacity an
-ua&ity usin' dri+e test method on c&uster ./. This thesis a&so describes the network
optimization process to fo&&ow up one case of customer comp&aint.
