Creation of an Interpretation Plan and it subsequent implementation
Contract value 70,000 (HLF and English Heritage funded)
Design and production of a range of interpretive and learning materials to help
students and visitors understand and appreciate the role that this historic railway
building, dating from 1839, played as part of the Midland Railways extensive
loco works. The resource is based around illustrative and graphic material
including:

Viewpoint time portal with life size figures on layered acrylic panels to create
a 3D effect
Super-graphics of people associated with the loco works produced in large
scale on doors, walls and screens
Illustrated map leaflet of Derbys 'railway quarter'
Gateway interpretation at Derby station
