Be a Teacher Model and co-teach as needed; Ask new teachers to observe you and
give feedback; Model planning process and lesson template
Model one lesson for each new teacher during the first quarter

Help new teachers with quarterly self reflections

Learning of Other
Teachers
Hold monthly after school meetings (1 hour)
Use recommended resources
Public Practice -
Classrooms
Check-in weekly (in person or via email) with Achievement Coach
Scripting observation of every new teacher by the end of October

Public Practice - Coaching Use release time for coaching only
Attend professional development offered throughout the year
Complete 4 activity logs per year
Ensure public practice applications are implemented and supported at
your school(s): Walkthroughs, Partnership coaching, Peer coaching,
Instructional problem solving teams, Lesson study, and Video analysis
