This anti bike theft project is a system attached to the bike ignition system. In order to start the ignition system, user has to enter his strong password. Only when the right password is entered does the ignition system start. Well the owner may now park his bike as intended and lock it. If a thief tries to break the key lock he still cannot start engine ignition without entering the right password. The system now prompts user to enter the password, if he enters the wrong password the system sends signals through Rf sender circuit connected to it and alert the owner. The system then sounds a buzzer to alert passersby or security personnel nearby. The alarm stops as soon as user enters the right password.

It makes use of an IR sensor that measures the level of trash in the dustbin. Based on the level of trash in the bin, the Trash Level Indicator attached to the dustbin will light up. If the amount of trash in the dustbin is low then the green light will be on and for medium the yellow light will be on and red color indicates that the trash is full and requires to be cleaned.
39. Underground Cable Fault Distance Locator This project is intended to detect the location of fault in underground cable lines. It is actually not feasible to keep a check on the fault of the cables. This project gives a digital way to detect the fault location, i.e. the distance of the fault from the feeder end, so that it is easy to rectify that fault. This uses the fact that when any fault like a short circuit occurs, the voltage drop varies as the resistance between that distance changes since the current varies. A set of resistors are therefore used to represent the cable and a dc voltage is fed at one end and the fault is detected by detecting the change in voltage using a analog to voltage converter and a
microcontroller is used to make the necessary calculations so that the fault distance is displayed on the LCD display.
