Welcome! Always bring your own sunshine -Anthony DAngelo Parent Letter 1, 8-19-14 Miss Trepp Let me start off by saying how excited I am to be working with your students for my first student teaching experience. I am so happy to have been placed at the Webster City Middle School and I feel so lucky to get the opportunity to work with your student. This is the last item on my agenda before graduating in December from Iowa State University. This is my fifth year in college and my third year at ISU. I spent a year and a half at a community college in Fort Dodge, Iowa Central Community College. At ICCC I obtained my Associates Arts degree, a minor in Photography, and my coaching endorsement. My major is Elementary Education with endorsements in Special Education, Mathematics, Reading, and Learning Technologies. Being positive and encouraging is how I like to live out everyday. Teaching students how to become confidently independent in the world they live is something that I strive to do. Educating myself, pushing my abilities, and growing as an educator is my goal. I have high expectations for myself as a teacher and I have high expectations for my future students. Goals Help meet the individual needs of students. Grow as an educator by practicing, reflecting, and listening. Create new and innovative interventions to meet IEP goals. Work to create a positive and hard working atmosphere in the classroom. pg. 3

A little about me 1 Some of my hobbies that I like to do are photography, playing piano, exercising, and working with students. I nanny quite a bit outside of school. So, planning fun activities that are educational is something that I do quite often. My full name is Madeleine
2 Marie Trepp. I am from Webster City, Iowa. My mom, Kellee, is a dentist in Webster City. My dad, Dan, is a sales representative for a company located in Des Moines. I have an older sister, Liz, that is currently in Vet School at Iowa State University. Also, I have an older brother, Daniel, who just graduated from 3 high school. Daniel has three more years of school left because he needs extended year services in Special Education. Daniel is disabled and has been in Special Education his whole life. He is my inspiration for teaching, and helped me dive into the world of Special Education.
