Ms. Lewis Class Procedures
A. Note from the Instructor
As a teacher, I will have an efficient and smooth running classroom. To achieve this I have
established a few simple procedures. As a student, it is your responsibility to learn and perform
these procedures. Through these procedures, I promise to you a more organized and effective
learning experience.

B. Most Common Procedures
1. Entering the Classroom
You will enter the classroom in an orderly fashion. Upon entering, you should complete any tasks
you need to around the room immediately (sharpen pencil, staple papers, get tissue, etc.). Once
seated, check the front board for the day's bell work. All students are expected to be in their
assigned seats and working on the bell work within a minute of entering the classroom.

2. Coming to Attention
When I need the classs attention, I will raise my hand and count from five to one on my hand.
When you see this you are expected to stop your conversation, look at me, and raise your hand
before I reach one. This is only complete when all hands are up, all eyes are on me, and the class is
quiet.

3. Multiple Classes One Classroom
During every class period I have more than one class going on. It is expected that all students
remain silent while directions are given to each class.

4. Digital Portfolio
Students will maintain a digital portfolio for this class through Weebly. Students will have access
to computers in class, during seminar, through the library, and during open lab time on
Wednesday.

All food and drinks must be left outside the classroom or within a students backpack. No food or
drink should be open in the classroom once the student has come in the class.

grade. All corrections are due the Friday after it is returned and MUST include a two paragraph
essay explaining what the student could have done to improve their grade and an action plan for
how the student will avoid this problem on future assignments. Assignments that can be
corrected will have Please Correct and Return date stamped on them by the teacher.

or asking anther group before asking the teacher for help.
