Role: Mobile Application Architect

Job Description:
The Mobile Application Architect will be part of Enterprise Mobility team in Technology division.
The Mobile Application Architect will understand and document the technology roadmap for IBS
mobile portfolio.
The Mobile Application Architect should thrive in a creative, idea-driven culture with a deep
desire to produce groundbreaking work.
The Mobile Application Architect should have a firm understanding of mobile smart phone,
tablet and such devices (including large screen platforms and devices) development platforms,
including iPhone, iPad, Android, and Windows Mobile.
The individual should be proficient in developing applications on at least one or more of these
platforms
Key Responsibilities
The Mobile Application Architect will be responsible for:
Defining the overall technical architecture for the mobile applications and frameworks.
Defining the technical requirements including solution architecture, technology used,
methodology followed, and devices selected for the implementation of the mobile solution.
Preparing technical solution and architecture documents, artifacts, work products and
presentations for the customer.
Represent organization in front of prospects / customers towards acquiring new opportunities.
Provide technology consulting to IBS products and services.
Skills / Experience
6+ years of Enterprise Java.
2+ years of Objective-C or C# development is desirable.
2+ years of experience working one or more platforms with iPhone, iPad, Android, or Windows
Mobile platforms.
Good understanding and knowledge of Mobile Application development
Proficient in authoring, editing and presenting technical documents and architecture
documents.
Proficient in verbal communication skills including presentation to large audiences
Excellent team management skills.
Must be self-starter, proactive and willing to learn and grow with the business.
Must demonstrate a hands-on approach, attention to detail and results orientation.
