Teachers need to carry out duties of the
profession to a high level of ethical and
moral conduct from various aspects.

Prioritize students' welfare and safety more
than other matters
Execute fairness towards every student
regardless of physical, mental, emotional,
political, economical, social, ethnic or
religious factors
Keep confidential any information
regarding the students, with the exception
of the legitimate authorities to access the
information
Guide and teach every student
Demonstrate good examples in terms of
behaviour and dress/attire
Always maintain and upgrade professional
efficiencies through various methods
Respect the major responsibility of the
parents towards their children
Generate good relationship between
educational institution and families
Maintain confidentiality of information
provided by the parents
Inform the parents any information
regarding their children
Look after oneself so as not to be
influenced by the parents
Do not behave in ways that could
jeopardize the parents trust
Encourage cooperation and mutual
understanding
Give active contribution to enhance moral
living, as well as the cultural and
intellectual aspects of the society
Believe in polite and courteous behaviour
which is accepted by the society and to
undergo a good living
Take care of and show respect for
personal dignity, and for the diversity found
among staff members, and to resolve
matters collegially
