S U MMA R Y
I am a Technology Integration Media Literacy Educator at an American School since
September 2006. I am responsible for the ICT integration with other self-contained
subjects from Kindergarten to 6th grade, using Backward Design techniques. In the
past eight months I've been working cooperatively with the Tech Team in developing
a 3-year Technology Plan, as part of the AdvancED TM Accreditation requisitions.
As part of my everyday routine I've been working with classroom teachers and
students to integrate technology into their curriculum. During this year 1st grade
students explored the world of technology through a variety of tools that enhanced
their learning in Mathematics and Language Arts. 2nd graders created podcasts
connected to the Language Arts curriculum. The 3rd graders honed their blogging
skills, learning how to write effective comments and responses, and even how to
record thoughtful audio commentary. 4th and 5th grade students designed engaging
presentations as a means of communicating their learning in Science, Social Studies,
and Mathematics. Weaving many technology skills together, each week students
eagerly looked forward to the Chapel News, a technology project in which
6th graders produced, filmed, and edited a bi-weekly newscast. All elementary
students and staff were updated about what students were learning, major events,
and a CARES thought. These projects had helped students learn how to use
technology in a way that meets their learning needs.
At the previous schools I integrated the needs of the ICT classes to the other content
areas. I have been an ICT teacher since 1996, always teaching in English at bilingual
or American schools. I designed activities and planned units to meet the schools
standards. I suggested and gave technical support and advice for interdisciplinary
projects. I also researched new systems/ programs and equipment. I was the web
designer and editor of the web journal. At the previous companies I developed the
employees training course, restructured the Data Centre, and hired new employees
for the area and supported teamwork.

S K I L L S A ND E X P E R T I S E
I own a Post Graduate Degree in Education from PUC-SP. My original graduation is
Electronic Computer Engineering. I gave two workshops at the Association of
American Schools in South America Educators Conference: Engaging Students in
the Process of Cyber Citizenship How to develop in the students the awareness
of being responsible online and other important topics today, March 2013; and also
ICT in content - Successful integration pieces for K-6 self contained classrooms,
March 2007, both in Buenos Aires - Argentina.
I truly believe in teamwork, especially in regard to Education. All the integrated
projects I developed were successful; the students were engaged in learning,

sometimes without noticing it. Im always available to help everyone.
