Rules &
Expectations
Homework is graded on a completion basis and is worth 10 points for each assignment, as
long as there is evidence of effort. Late homework is accepted up until the day of the
current section's quiz, for half credit.

Please remember that homework is the practice that the students need in order to
effectively learn the concepts presented in class. Students who complete their homework
also tend to do better on their quizzes and tests, because they have had the practice!

Homework
Missed tests and quizzes due to absence must be made up in a timely fashion.
Students will be given an opportunity to retake a quiz if they make an appointment
with me outside of school hours or taken during their resource period.
Students will not be allowed to retake a test.

Tests and Quizzes
The number of days you miss class = the number of days you are allowed to make
up any assignment that is due plus one additional day.
It is your responsibility to make up any notes, tests, quizzes, or homework that you
have missed. Check your class folder for an absent work summary page.
All outstanding work such as; tests and quizzes, are due by the end of each quarter in
order to receive credit.
