The mixed use proposal included approximately 60 new homes, as well as restaurant / cafe, shop, warehouse and landscape provisions, including a village green and childrens play area. The design statement highlighted the limited visual impact of development on the site, with existing woodland screening views of the site and the potential to provide improved footpath and public transport connections within the area.
