on the faces of the unfortunate few

Carpe Cares: A Flagship Event

During Carpe Diem, 350+ little kids came to the IIMC campus from 3 NGOs
(STCH , SPCI and Behala NaboPrayas).

Kids were treated with a day of fun and entertainment through various
interactions and cultural performances.

Kids were given a stage to perform - there was dance, music, plays and mimes
A movie screening was organized for the kids

Snacks and lunch arrangements were made for them and all of them were
given return gifts in the end

A Blood Donation Camp

Computer Centre for Rural/Poor Kids by
CHWO

Recently CHWO opened a computer Centre for
rural / poor kids.

Poor Children will be provided free Computer
education at the centre.

Pehla Kadam worked with CHWO for opening the
centre.

Pehla Kadam plans to provide volunteers (IIMC
Students) for teaching at this centre.

Pehla Kadam plans to support the infrastructure of
the computer centre through received funds.

What ELSE??

Helped the NGO, Naboprayas, to put up a stall.

The items made by the differently abled children of the
NGO were put up on display

The products were really liked by the audiences and
there were significant sales

Organizing a Workshop for Anganwadi Workers

Collaborations with NGOs in order to conduct good
no. of activities

Visit to more no. of village schools
Support CHWOs computer centre with Student
volunteers for teaching purposes.

Organizing Picnics for Orphan kids
