Students will learn the basic principles of the Constitution of the United States. We will recognize our countrys founding fathers. Happy Constitution Day! (September 17) Math: Number Sense We are working on number sense. We will learn about place value of numbers to 1,000. We will also compare numbers. Vocabulary: greater than, less than, equal to, more, fewer, digits, tens, and ones
Please continue to practice math facts. The 5 minute math addition drills (100 problems) do not count as a grade. I encourage the students to make it a personal goal to increase their individual scores.

*There will be 2 dictation sentences each week on the spelling test. The students will practice the skills needed to be successful on these sentences at school. (capitalization, punctuation, spacing, neat handwriting, etc.)
