I am from the United States of America.

I am
American.
I live in New York, which is one of the 50 states.
I do not live in the city. I live on Long Island.
My town is small. It is near the sea, like
Balerma, and it has a beach.
I went to college in North Carolina. It is very
far from New York (about 800 km).
This was my university. I studied advertising
and Spanish, but I graduated in May.
This is me and my mom. We dont like this
picture very much. It is from when I
graduated college. We get along very well.
I have two brothers. My older brother,
Michael, is 23 years old. He is a student. He
and his girlfriend, Nicole, have been dating
(going out) for six years.
My younger brother, Thomas, is also a student.
He is 20 years old. This summer, he went to Peru.
In this picture he is with an alpaca, an animal that
is native to Peru.
My parents are divorced. My stepmom, Lena,
and my stepbrother, Danya, are from the Ukraine.
Danya is ten years old. They live in Florida with
my dad.
I have a big family. I have 11 aunts and uncles,
and 15 cousins. Many of my aunts and uncles
are European. They come from Sweden, England,
and Wales.
Some of my hobbies are spending time with
friends, traveling, and reading. My favorite
book is The Little Prince. While I am in
Spain, I want to learn to speak Spanish and to
cook.
My favorite color is purple and my favorite
season is autumn. When I was in high school,
my favorite subjects were Spanish and
English. My favorite Spanish food is
gazpacho.
