Jumpstart 2013 publishing industry event. I accompanied the CD students as a participant for this 2
day long illustrators class workshop
This workshop was a great platform to interact and share
experiences with some very well known international
children's book illustrators and understand their work
style. I brought some of the discussions, techniques and
exercises done into my classroom teaching with
Communication Design students.

NID & CII Design Summit 2013
The summit explored how design is helpful in
imagining the future and is a perfect catalyst
that connects future scenarios with corporate
decision-making.

Attending the presentations helped in understanding the
concerns and challenges of design education and thinking

Exhibitions at Museums (IGNCA and National
Museum) and crafts fairs
Co-ordinated Foundation and Communication students participated
and had a discussion with the curator of the exhibition
'Asif Sheikh'. The appreciation of Indian crafts and skills
will help in enriching the students knowledge base.

4th Anime Festival a celebration of Anime,
Manga, Gaming, Comics and Films at Marwah
Studios Noida
Delhi Photo festival, Habitat Centre, Delhi
which featured some of the most exciting
names in International & Indian comic book
industry
Accompanied students to participate in these events and
gave both me and the students an opportunity to
participate in discussions with many prominent people in
the animation and photography industry and look at their
work.

Comic Con event at Thyagaraj Stadium, Delhi
which featured some of the most exciting
names in International & Indian comic book
industry.
Helped set up a stall for Communication Design
department and also spoke to many prospective students
to create awareness about Communication Design. This
was an excellent platform to connect with the industry
and get live projects and internships in future.

Entrepreneurship Fest in Sri Venkateswara
College
Co-ordinated and mentored students to work on a live
project to providing creative support on behalf of Pearl
creating posters, banners and other promotional material
for their festival.

Sona Paper workshop and visit Co-ordinated with Sona Papers to conduct a workshop
with students to see their catalogue of papers and
understand printing techniques. Also accompanied them
to screen and digital printing workshop to give them an
exposure to printing techniques.

Design)
Identified and co-ordinated workshops and industry talks
to update students on current topics, time management
and making project proposal. This also helps us as
teachers to be updated with current trends. I am also
trying to get live project briefs from them so the students
get practical experience.

School internships Conducted summer internships with Ramneek Majithia for
school children with subject areas related to
Communication Design at Noida. The students came up
with some interesting work and I am also archiving the
same for other similar activities in future.

Facilitator Workshop POW WOW I have worked extensively with recycling paper techniques
and developing recycled paper as part of my industry
projects in Orchcha (MP) and Delhi.
Conducted a workshop on Recycling Paper as part of
6th-9th Aug 2014
POW WOW freedom theme as a pilot project for students
to explore paper as a material to look at as a sustainable
design for the future. I am now assisting in setting up a
paper recycling unit at Jaipur.
