STUDENT TRAINEE (F/M) BANKING & PRIVATE EQUITY

ADC African Development Corporation is a German listed, emerging pan-African banking group. ADC has a
strong footprint in Southern Africa via BancABC, a regional commercial banking platform operating in Bo-
tswana, Mozambique, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe as well as in West Africa via Union Bank of Nigeria.
Parallel to its banking operations, ADC has a private equity portfolio active in growth markets across sub-
Saharan Africa.
We are looking for candidates who are interested in a position as Student Trainee (Werkstudent) beginning as soon as
possible. You will be based in Frankfurt and should be available for at least 12 months for 15-20 hours a week.
Tasks
As a part-time employee of ADC, you will support the team in its day-to-day business:
Market, industry & target research
Preparation of investor presentations
Preparation of investor reports
Other administrative support
Prole
Ideal candidates should have the following prole:
Working towards an undergraduate degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance
Independent and pro-active attitude with a critical mind and perseverance
Enthusiastic and commercially-minded person
Highly developed analytical skills and a good numerical understanding
Capable of nding creative solutions to complex problems
Flexible mindset and a real team player with good communication and social skills
Hands-on approach and exibility
Strong interest in sub-Saharan African markets
Ideally prior working experience gained as a Trainee or Intern in Banking or Finance
Excellent English & German skills, French/Spanish are benecial
Excellent power point and excel skills
