opportunities, setting effective goals and working as a part of a team.

Below are a series of reflective questions.

1. MAKING THE MOST OF AN OPPORTUNITY:

a) Reflect on a time, moment or event in which you took a risk and grabbed an

Science and Humanities that I think I will enjoy.

2. SETTING EFFECTIVE GOALS:

c) Have you ever taken the time to set yourself a goal or a series of goals? If so, did
you achieve it / them?
I tried extremely hard to get into the Moomba Park Netball team at Parkville and to do so I
had to impress my coaches so I set myself goals to improve my skills.

is there a goal or a series of goals you wish to set yourself. If so, what measures
will you take to achieve it / them?
I know that high school will be a big jump in the standard of work compared to primary
school so one of my goals is to try to finish homework as soon as possible and put as much
effort into my work as possible.

3. WORKING AS PART OF A TEAM:

e) Reflect on a time, where you worked as a part of a team. Was the team
successful, and if so, how did you positively contribute to the achieved success?
I worked as a team at the netball tournament with the school and we all helped each other
to play even though some of us hadnt ever played before.

f) In your soon coming transition from Primary Education to Secondary Education,
is there an opportunity you are looking forward to trying in which you will have
to work effectively as a part of a team?
In March next year, Loyola will be having camp for the year sevens and it involves team
work to complete the activities and it gives us a chance to make new friends.
