She brought to my attention that the Phoenix Nursing and Rehabilitation Center was searching for an entry-level prospect, with the opportunity for internship during the summer of 2015. I would welcome the opportunity to meet with you and discuss this position in further detail. I have lived in Phoenix, AZ for the past year, and have been impressed with the growth of the Phoenix Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Based on your continued growth and service to this community, I believe my skills and knowledge in the area of Recreational Therapy will support your expansion and success of this facility. In addition, I feel my ability to organize and facilitate recreational activities for this selective population; will assist in the overall well-being, comfort, and satisfaction of your clientele.
After speaking with Ms. Mason, I researched your company even further. I am excited about the growth of this facility over the last three years. The addition of the physical fitness area and swimming pool offered to your clients continues to show the dedication and support this company has devoted to this population. As a second year student at Arizona State University, I have already completed courses in the following areas: Social Work Psychology Therapeutic Assessments Organizational Design I believe my education and experience closely matches the goals created by the Phoenix Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. In fact, last semester, I held the position of Vice President for the ASTRA Club, the Arizona State Therapeutic Recreation Association, promoting general health and providing recreation resources and opportunities in order to improve the well-being of various populations, including those people serviced at your center. This experience will help to bring in additional resources and supports into your programs and assist your clients with the most up-to-date, research-based activities and therapies, allowing for stronger bodies and healthier minds.
