AUTOMATIC PNEUMATIC SIDE STAND FOR

TWO WHEELER
SYNOPSIS
This is the concept which is used in automobile two wheeler vehicle
to operate the stand automatically through the pneumatic source. While in
the manual operation the human really get fatigue to operate the system. A
two wheeler refers to vehicles that run on two wheels. They include, bicycle,
a pedal-powered two wheeler. Motorcycle is the motor-powered two
wheeler, similar in construction with bicycles. But also considering that the
parking of vehicles in parking places is necessary. o that stand must be
used at the parking. !onsidering this area the automation of stand is taken
into account for our pro"ect. This automation is very useful at the parking the
vehicle. The re#uired components are !ontrol unit, $neumatic cylinder,
olenoid valve, %low control valve and !ycle model.

WORKING PRINCIPLE
&n our pro"ect we are using the side stand for two wheeler. 'ere we
are using the pneumatic cylinder to operate the stand. &nitially the control
unit operates the compressor which delivers the air to the solenoid valve at
certain pressure. The solenoid controls the flow direction of air pass through
the pneumatic cylinder. !ylinder piston rod end is fi(ed in the top of the
stand for the moving of up and down motion for applying the stand. When
ever we need the stand at the time of pressing the switch on the control unit
it will activate the solenoid valve to supply the air from the compressor to
operate the pneumatic cylinder for the above operation for placing the stand.
