Skill #1: Insert Master slide (create slide master, edit slide master, apply to different slides)
A slide master is very important if you want to create placeholders or if you want to modify all the
slides in your document at once. Slide masters are very helpful when you want to create a template
for students to use, who are not comfortable using PowerPoint. You essentially create an outline that
is hidden from the students, but when they go ahead and make their own presentation, they will see
your outline and fill it in. This is extremely useful for beginners.
Skill #2: Create a placeholder
Placeholders essentially do the same thing that a slide master does, and you can do a place holder for
pictures, text, graphs, etc. This can make the insertion of objects much easier for students.
Skill #3: Insert graph and edit on presentation.
Being able to insert a graph onto a presentation creates a better visual of information you are trying to
display. I learned how to edit the data on excel and then also edit the graph on my presentation.
Skill #4: Hide a slide
I hid my slide #5, meaning that when I present, you will be unable to see my slide unless you un-hide
it. Hiding slides is very helpful for teachers that want to have a slide with certain information on it, but
dont want to let all the students see the slide when presenting.
Skill #5: Adding Footer/Header
