    HadithAnswers.com is a site that seeks to serve the Muslim World by attending to queries that pertain to the Noble Traditions of Rasulullah (sallallahu’alaihi wasallam). All questions are either answered or checked by Moulana Haroon Abasoomar (hafizahullah) who is a Shaykhul Hadith in South Africa, or by his son, Moulana Muhammad Abasoomer (hafizahullah) a Hadith specialist. The site was launched to coincide with Shaykh ‘Awwamah’s next visit to South Africa in January 2014. He was pleased to hear of it & blessed the site with his du’as & also offered some principle guidelines on how to attend to Contemporary Hadith queries. The classification of the authenticity of hadiths is based on the verdicts of the Muhaddithun (Hadith Scholars) of the past. We prefer to –as far as possible- to abstain from grading a hadith according to our own discression. 2. Since the field of Al-Jarh wa Ta’dil (verification of narrators) is based on individual Ijtihad (analogical deductions) of the scholars, it is therefore prone to difference of opinion. Hence, if there be any disagreement concerning the classification of any hadith, it should be understood in this light. However, we welcome any logical constructive input on the relevant matter. 3. The proofs provided by ourselves regarding any fiqhi (theoretical) issue is solely for the purpose of proving the Hanafi standpoint (unless stated otherwise) and is to establish the fact that that the Hanafi School is also substantiated by clear proofs and sound arguments. Therefore if there exists any difference of opinion of any of the other 3 madhabs concerning the relevant issue, we intend no disrespect to them, neither do we wish to enforce our opinion on them. We respect the opposing views and likewise encourage others to respect ours. 4. At times the nature of the question or questioner is such that it requires a staunch approach. This approach is solely to assure the confused reader of the in exactitude of the questioner. 5. Its important to understand that matters such as these should not be a means of causing disunity and friction among the Muslim Ummah. More so in an era like ours wherein the Muslim Ummah at large is in dire need of absolute unity as well as mutual love and understanding. 6. When we are unable to trace a hadith, it demands caution in quoting it. One should never relate a hadith which is untraceable, as it could be a fabrication. 7.     The famous virtue of Surah Waqiah

    Question
    I recently heard that the narration regarding Surah Waqiah being a safeguard
    against poverty is weak?
    Are all narrations regarding this virtue of Surah Waqiah weak?
    I understand we can practice on weak narrations for virtues of deeds, but I just
    wanted clarity on this particular virtue

    Sayyiduna #Abdullah ibn $asud %radiyallahuanhu& reported that 'asulullah
    %sallallahualayhi wasalla(& said)
    Surah Waqiah will become a protection from poverty for the one who
    recites it every night
    *he narrator says) #Sayyiduna Ibn $asud %radiyallahuanhu& would teach this
    Surah to his daughters too
    I(a( +usiri %rahi(ahullah& writes) #Abu ,ala has recorded this with a chain
    whose narrators are all reliable
